The Bedeslea affix was registered by my brother, Malcolm, with the New Forest Pony Society and later with the Kennel Club in 1977 for our Obedience award winning Labrador Retrievers.
Polly, my first Golden and first show dog arrived from the Rayleas kennel in 1983 - the foundation of the Bedeslea multi-skilled Golden Retriever line, that produced Show, Field Trial, Obedience and Assistance dogs for twenty years.
In 1987, Italian Spinone, Bosco, joined the Golden team and living with him exceeded all my expectations of this lovely breed. He took his inexperienced owner/handler into new areas - HPR Field trials and the Championship Show Group Ring! All the current Bedeslea Spinoni have Bosco behind them - maintaining both the 'brains and beauty' has always been a priority for this small, hobby kennel.
